I love Instagram. I first joined around 2013 and remember being blown away by how I could change my photographs with filters and effects. I have a fair few sparkly pictures of my Bob cat that I created around that time! It’s a goal of mine to improve my photography and post on Instagram daily, and my feed has suffered a bit since I have been away from home, but I still log on regularly for some inspiration, and thought I’d share five of my favourite accounts with you.
Emily Quinton is a photographer and author, and runs photography courses in London. She posts daily images of the most stunning florals, which never fail to inspire. She has almost 60K followers on Instagram.. go and join them!
Janice has the gift of being able to post a range of subjects, florals, interiors, landscapes, which all mix perfectly together into a beautiful gallery. She also blogs at Janice Issitt Life Style.
Nothing is Ordinary is a curated gallery of images from Instagram users who have joined the #nothingisordinary hashtag. It’s beautifully done and well worth a look.
The Colourful Dot is the Instagram feed for The Colourful Dot Boutique, which is a magical shop full of beautiful crystals. I love crystals and have some displayed in every room in my home, but the crystals from this boutique are something else. I especially love the crystal wands.
Capture by Lucy is one of my most favourite Instagram accounts. Partly because Lucy lives locally to me and I love stumbling across captures of local landmarks that I see every day. I could easily get lost in Lucy’s Instagram feed. She also runs the #capturingcolour hashtag, and shares curated images from other users.
While you’re visiting these amazing accounts, why not give me a follow at The Sparkle Nest too?
What are your favourite Instagram accounts? I’d love for you to let me know in the comments.
