One of the reasons I’m so excited about Christmas already, aside from the fact that I’m excited about Christmas every year, is that it’s Frey’s first. I’ve seen some beautiful things around the web that I think would make perfect first Christmas gifts.
I’ve seen a few ‘Baby’s First Christmas’ baubles around, but I think a personalised gifts are just that bit more special, such as these pretty hand painted to order ones, from Blossom and Bear.
I think these mini prints are so cute! I bought the ‘You are so loved’ print for Rob for his birthday this year, I used it as a gift tag on his present. I like the ‘My Super Hero’ print, which I think would be lovely framed in Frey’s nursery.
3. Big Red Bus from The Little White Company
You can’t go far wrong with The Little White Company if you’re looking for a special baby gift. I bought Frey’s first ever baby-gro from The Little White Company when I was 12 weeks pregnant. I love this Big Red Bus, a classic toy that would last for years.
5. Grimm’s Toys Water Waves from Babi Pur
I’ve just discovered Grimm’s Toys thanks to the Babi Pur website. They have a giant sit on rainbow, and classic stacking blocks, but I think my favourite has to be these wooden waves. The website suggests sitting them on top of a blue scarf to create a choppy sea.. hours of fun for when Frey is a little older!
6. What a Wonderful World book
This book is a picture book based on What a Wonderful World, the song by Louis Armstrong, and comes with a CD of the song too. It sounds magical to me!
Baby Gap is another place which I think is fantastic for an extra special baby gift, I’ve bought a few baby gifts for friends from there. I love this ‘All in one plaid romper’, which I think would make super cute Christmas PJs.
Ok ok, this isn’t really appropriate for Frey’s first Christmas, but I had to add it because, well, isn’t it amazing?! It’s from Little Maldod, which is a beautiful web shop. I bought Frey’s baby milestone cards from Little Maldod when he was tiny and the service was fantastic. Each sequin on this crown is stitched onto woven fabric and backed by Irish linen. It is adjustable, and can fit ages 3 to adult.. perhaps I ought to have saved this one for my own Christmas wish list…
Blade and Rose leggings are just so cute. I was very tempted by some Halloween ones, but I resisted! I love these Rudolph ones for Christmas time. I’ve seen these in a few independent shops, and also on Not on The High Street.
Finally, a personalised gift sack to put all of Frey’s gifts in, that will last him for years to come. This one is from Old English Company
Although really, at 10 months old, I expect he will be more interested in racing around the floor with discarded wrapping paper. Still, I’m ever so excited to spoil him this Christmas.
