I know I said I wasn’t planning on over indulging over the Christmas holiday, but I do know that I’ve certainly put away more junk than I have the good stuff over the past few weeks, and I’ve started 2016 feeling very under the weather. I am a firm believer that health begins from within, and what you put into your body has a huge effect on how you feel, so today was ideal for me to get creative and come up with a new smoothie recipe, with the help of Indigo Herbs of Glastonbury, who kindly sent me some of their ‘Kick Ass Vegan Smoothie Mix’.
A beautiful, yummy, thick and creamy smoothie that filled me up for hours and was absolutely packed with nutrients. I can’t wait to make another one in the morning and kick this New Years cold away!
