This is such a special summer. It’s one I’m sure Frey won’t remember, being only 17 months old, but it’s the last one where he will be an only child, before his little brother joins us in a few months time. I’m treasuring every moment with him, even the moments where he decides to tip his half finished bowl of food over his head meaning it’s bath time again!
This weekend we had another visit to Devon, we love going there. We had a ride on a mini steam train, played with balloons from the summer fete, and went to Overbeck’s, a beautiful National Trust garden by the sea. The weather changed while we were there from the glorious hot sunshine, the sea mist had crept in, and we explored the garden as though we were walking through the rain clouds. It was still so warm and by the end of our visit we were all dripping wet. We dried off in the car as we went to find a cafe for some afternoon tea and cake.
Squint and you can see the sea… One day we will have to visit on a clear day to see this view properly!
Frey loved the GIANT hydrangeas!
Walking barefoot on the damp grass in the statue garden.
Me and my 30 week bump.
Such special memories to treasure… have a lovely week!
