Exciting plans and shiny new stationery

It’s finally here! Well I say finally, it’s actually come around very quickly, as it only seems like five minutes since the last time. I’m on maternity leave again! Baby boy no.2 is due in six and a half weeks, I’ve saved up some annual leave to take before my due date. And, just like last time, one of the first things I did when I finished work was to write a huge ‘to do’ list.

I have so many plans over the next few weeks, mainly to spend as much time with Frey having fun as I possibly can, but on the days when he’s at nursery I’m planning things to make, things to bake.. maybe some time to relax.. plenty of nesting.. and photographs and stories to share with you on The Sparkle Nest. It’s going to be fun.

So, I was very happy to hear from Toad Diaries, who asked me if I’d like to try out one of their new product, the Blogger’s Journal. I absolutely adore stationery, and my academic diary from last year which I’ve been using for blog planning is just about to run out, so it was the perfect time to try something new.

The Blogger's Planner

The Blogger’s Journal is a handy A5 sized ring bound book, with the inside cover being full of inspirational quotes, which I was happy to see included my very favourite..

‘It’s never too late to be what you might have been’ – George Eliot

There is a page for your statistics across your media channels, which you can update as the year goes on, perfect to track your progress if you’re trying to increase your followers. There’s a handy couple of pages for your contacts, then into the diary.

Blogger's Journal

The diary is undated, with a space for you to write the date in. Very handy if like me, you’re not a full time blogger but have work days when you can fit them in around the rest of your life. Each day has a ‘to do’ list, a space for your top priority goals, and then a whole page for ‘Notes and Creativity’ – I imagine using this for creating my recipes, planning which images I need to take etc. I often plan my images in the evening when I have time but the light is poor, so when I get the moment of good light in the daytime I can just refer to my list and see what I need to do.

The Blogger's Journal

The Blogger’s Journal will be available soon from Toad Diaries. You can visit their website at www.toaddiaries.co.uk

If you’re not a blogger, then Toad Diaries is still well worth a visit, as they really have a wide range of diaries and journals available. They even have a runner’s diary for you to plan your training, which I think is a brilliant idea. But that’s one thing I’m not planning on doing over the next few weeks – maybe next year!

Disclosure – The Blogger’s Journal was sent to me by Toad Diaries for the purpose of review. All opinions are my own.
