Winter at Bliss Botanicals

It doesn’t seem so long ago I was talking about the start of Autumn and the beautiful season seems to have flown by. Now it is very nearly December, and the trees have lots their leaves which are often covered with frost on the front path each morning (I really must sweep it…) and our walks involve wrapping up with hats and gloves, blowing warm breath on my toddlers hands as his gloves keep falling off, and all warming up afterwards with hot chocolates topped with whipped cream and marshmallows. (Incidentally, I’ve just found a plant based version of both in my local whole food shop which has been a winter time game changer!)

It’s also time to share with you the Winter creations I’ve been making for Bliss Botanicals.

Christmas Soaps

‘Yule’ Soap

I have a new soap in the collection – this one is Orange, Cedarwood and Clove. It’s made with the same creamy formula as the other soaps and with pure essential oils. I’ve also given most of my soaps a Christmas makeover and have had so much fun wrapping them with added sparkle!

Candy Cane Lip Balms

Candy Cane Lip Balm

It’s definitely the season for lip balms, and I’ve been saving this one for the winter range. Perfect for Christmas kisses under the mistletoe! Or even for just applying throughout the working day – as I use mine! Candy Cane lip balm is suitable for vegans, contains a sprinkle of pink shimmer and is fragranced with pure peppermint essential oil.

Winter Candle

Winter Candles

I’ve added two new candle fragrances for the Winter Season. They are ‘Christmas Tree’ which is a beautiful seasonal scent, the fresh and clean fragrance of your real Christmas tree, that hits you as you walk into the room. And ‘Yuletide’, a wonderfully festive blend of bayberries, cranberries, cinnamon bark and orange zest.

Wax Melts

Soy Wax Melts

My soy wax melt shots are also available in ‘Christmas Tree’ and ‘Yuletide’, and I also have a third festive fragrance for melts, which is ‘Cranberry Wreath’. This is a stunning super-sweet ripe cranberry fragrance with delicious mulled base notes and a hint of greenery.

Winter Essence Mist

Blissful Winter Essence Mist

I’ve saved my favourite until last, as I think this one is very special. Joining my ‘Pure Bliss’ Essence Mist is my new formulation, ‘Blissful Winter‘.  Blissful Winter Essence Mist is a blend of orange, cedarwood, frankincense and fir essential oils, with essence of self heal and kunzite crystal, in Chalice Well spring water. It is infused with reiki healing energy to lift the spirit and calm the mind.

Self heal flower essence helps to calm and centre the spirit, and enhances the effectiveness of the essential oil blend. Kunzite crystal aids with lifting your mood, and helping to heal emotional problems. This blend is mixed with water that I gathered from the spring at Chalice Well in Glastonbury, one of the most loved holy wells in Britain. It’s waters are acknowledged by many as the essence of life.

You can use your Essence Mist as a room spray, aura spray, linen spray, or even keep in your car to soothe away stressful moments, lift your spirit, and of course, for the scent of Christmas!

Dorset Brocante

I’m also attending my first event with Bliss Botanicals. The beautiful Dorset Brocante is on at Kingston Maurwood House in Dorset, this coming Sunday, 3rd December from 11am to 4.30pm. I’ve visited some of the Vintage Brocante events before and they are truly beautiful, so I am so excited to be a stall holder at the Christmas event. You can find out more on their website – if you’re in the area I would love to see you there!

If you’d like to have a closer look at my Winter range, then it’s available from my website and also from my Etsy shop.

What are you enjoying most about Winter – have you had your first hot chocolate yet?

All the products looks awesome in the pictures and I am sure they are great in use as described. I wish I could attend the event, would love to try out some products. But on checking out their website,I am not sure these are delivered outside UK. Does Etsy helps in getting them delivered on international address?

You can tell a lot for a brand by their branding and looks alone. This looks like a wonderful and very luxurious one!
