The definition of veganism, according to The Vegan Society, is;
A philosophy and way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose; and by extension, promotes the development and use of animal-free alternatives for the benefit of humans, animals and the environment. In dietary terms it denotes the practice of dispensing with all products derived wholly or partly from animals.”
Personally, eating a plant based diet is something I now find very easy, but I admit I’m still working on bringing veganism into every aspect of my life. It seems a waste to throw away products made of say, leather, that I’ve had for years – but when I replace them with something new, I’ll always look for a cruelty free alternative.
Fortunately, these cruelty free alternatives are becoming more and more readily available – and when you’re transitioning to a vegan lifestyle there is no need to feel as though you’re missing out on anything at all!
So, with Christmas just around the corner, I went over to Love The Sales to see what they have on offer, and here are some of the treats I’ve found..
WANT Smooth Over Vegan Leather Bag

With my youngest recently turning one, I’ve moved away from bulky changing bags, but I still need a big spacious handbag to fill with snacks, changes of clothes and all the bits and pieces you need to carry around when you leave the house! I love this Vegan Leather Bag from WANT which is very stylish but also looks plenty big enough to carry everything we would need.
WANT Two Timing Vegan Leather Bag

Another alternative is this gorgeous tote bag – I love the tassel on this. Baby friendly, stylish, and cruelty free!
